Try scanning them - I've discovered that works better on framed works - you don't get the glare or reflections that you get from photographing glass-covered framed works. Check out [link] - that one was framed and covered with glass... came out fine on the scanner and you can really see the detail in full size mode... I'd love to see your work with greater detail - esp. that butterfly! it's beautiful.
